It says to steep this tea for 1-3 minutes. Usually, I find it can take a significantly longer steep. That being said, ten minutes may have been a bit too much — there were slight hints of bitterness suggesting an oversteep, though not enough to make it unpleasant. That being said, it gave time for the spices to come through very well, creating a pleasantly pungent wave of taste.
It’s nice on its own, but I think I may add a bit of sugar another time — I think a bit of sweetness would be an ideal complement to the tea’s original taste.
