While this is not the 100% most fantastic black tea in the world, it carries a lot of memories with it, and that bumps its ranking significantly. This was the tea my husband drank when I first met him and this was the tea that I always remember seeing in his flat when I would visit to keep him company during a health crisis. He would pour boiling water to half-fill a cup and then the rest would be grape juice. This would then have a teabag tucked in it to brew and it was a fabulous drink for both winter and summer. I liked it chilled or kept hot. It became a travelling tea and we would pour it into a jar and take it with us on trips. It appeared at our reception tea. Though I often make the mistake of brewing it too dark, the memories and comforts that this tea brings far make up for any deficiencies it may have in quality or taste. It is a solid tea, good for mornings and for taking on the go, and it is very convenient to find on a store shelf.

Oh, and the figurines are just fabulous. I have so many little pairs of dogs that I’m not sure what to do with them.

I am very fond of chamomile tea, and I do like how light this one steeps. It is a very calming tea and it really does me good at the office when I’m trying to keep from being stressed.

A very unique tea. I’m not sure how to describe it, but it definitely is one of my favourites. I suppose not having eaten a chrysanthemum, I can’t tell you how close it and the flower match up, but I’ve always liked this tea and it’s easy to prepare.

I like this tea, but I often forget that I have the teabag in my cup and I let it steep far too long and it gets very very bitter. Up to that point, however, I really do like it.

I am very very fond of this tea- the “zinger” bit of it (the tartness) is very pleasant and I like to steep this tea very strong and very tart. It does smell very raspberry and it does taste quite a lot like the wild red raspberries that I pick from the yard.

I’m rather fond of the tart teas, so I like to steep this one quite strong to get that slight hint of tart to it. I really love this tea.

This is one of my favourite teas. It is smooth, a bit on the creamy side, and a very relaxing tea.
