I didn’t look up the brewing parameters before brewing, so I went with 1.5 Tbls, boiling water for 5. Minutes. Then, I saw on here that 5 minutes is the far end of brewing parameters. This long steep time did make the tea a bit astringent so I will definitely lower the steep time next time. You know it is in the morning….I JUST NEED TEA….NOW! Haha, or I am anyway!
Anyway, what part of the tea that wasn’t astringent was delicious, sweet pumpkin and creamy marshmallows. I don’t think I got a proper taste though. Next time, I will follow the parameters.
