305 Tasting Notes
Drank this when I came home from school and again after dinner.
I just love the richness of this tea. The roasty aroma is intoxicating to me.
I also want to give a shout out to the Strand Tea Company. This quote is on their web page “We specialize in offering quality tea and tea accessories at affordable prices for everyone.” They also ship teas out the same day ordered 99 % of the time. And you get a free sample with your order + some really great tea cookies:) hmmm….one perk after another…& Jack Strand is happy to return an email about tea questions. When I first started drinking tea, he sent me a lengthy explaination of the all teas. Bottom line, they are tea experts and they really care about their customers.
Shout out over. Enough said.
Preparation
ahh, the taste of morning: PG Tips. I don’t know why I like this so much. But it is convenient and cost efficient. The taste is bold and coffee like to me.
Please, Keep in mind that I am not a coffee drinker. I think of this tea as my “coffee” in the mornings.
On a side note, I just ordered my Den’s Tea sampler!
I have tasted some really good green teas here lately and wanted to broaden my horizon to Japenese greens:) Great deal for three bucks!
Tea bag one:
First sip: dirt, was that dirt I tasted? second sip, no not dirt, mint? Really?
As I empty my cup, definitely mint of some sort. Not what I expected from an EB tea.
Tea bag two:
My second cup of this tea was better than my first. I still taste the mint, but I do see what others are saying about this tasting like a Darjeeling.
Drinkable, just not my cuppa.
