This year’s “Spring Impression” cake is a blend of tea leaves entirely from the first flush of Spring, originating from Mengku, Bang Dong, and Jing Gu tea gardens. This pressing is a premium interpretation of the Impression series, using spring material from wild arbor and old arbor tea gardens.

We decided to do an all spring Impression because the blend is a such a good one. Although it’s much pricier than previous productions we still believe that it’s worth the price paid. Keep an eye out for a less pricey spring/autumn 2020 Impression released at the end of the year 2020 (or early 2021)!

The tea has been grown naturally and processed in the traditional method. We blended various teas together to achieve a powerful blend that has strong mouth feeling, cha qi and a balanced sweet, bitter and astringent profile.
