From Trader Nicks Tea Company

Tasty black tea with forest berries and a bit of vanilla

Tasting Notes: berry | vanilla | sweet

A luscious black tea blend packed full of all sorts of forest berries and sweet flavors. Blueberry, raspberry and strawberry are all represented in this woodland mix. Also in the blend is vanilla, which perfectly enhances the berries and serves as a complimentary softness. Specks of green yerba mate are also scattered in to represent the forest and bring a bit of extra body to the mix.

Ingredients: black tea, blueberry & strawberry flavor, vanilla, green mate, raspberry leaf, blueberries, raspberry bits, dehydrated strawberries

Forest Moon is becoming one of my favorites from Trader Nicks, I’m a sucker for red berry flavors.

The other Star Wars tea from my subscription bonus samples!

This one is a black tea with forest fruits. Quite nice actually. The strawberry is the strongest to my tongue, but I do also taste some syrupy blueberry notes. I also get the sweet, slightly creamy roundness of the vanilla.

The only negative for me, is that the black tea base is coming off quite earthy and almost a bit musty. And those strong earthy notes do sort of overwhelm the berries a bit, and leave a lingering mustiness on my palate instead of a lingering fruity flavor. So another one that’s not quite a winner for me, but was fun to try and enjoyable for a single cup.
