From The Republic of Tea

For thousands of years, people have sipped green tea to stay healthy. When ground into a fine powder, green tea leaves transform into matcha, and all those incredible mind-body benefits multiply. We’ve blended both premium Japanese matcha and green tea leaves with powerful herbs for a healthy, flavorful, smooth-tasting infusion.

Organic Tea for Wellness*

Arm your body’s defense system with nature’s best, both in sickness and in health, with this palate-pleasing blend. The antioxidants in green tea have long been praised for their ability to improve overall health and wellness.* To that, we have added echinacea, known as the body’s “immune stimulant,” and elderflower, known as nature’s medicine chest.* A hint of orange makes a bright, flavorful cup.

Thought it was flavorless when I made it as a warm tea. Today I made it as an iced tea and I still think it is nearly flavorless. Very faint citrus note. Basic hydration on a warm day.

First Impression: creates a murky green brew. I brewed it at a green tea temperature. Could only get one brew out it.
Taste: A Strong orange Citrus flavor with a light floral note to it. The citrus flavor is the most prominent. It was rather lovely.
Better than I had expected. It was good but it did not do anything for colds/health benefits.
I would not buy it for that purpose although Republic of Tea does make other teas for that, this one did not hit the mark for that purpose.

It was something that I liked while it lasted but it is not something that I would purchase again. It was okay nothing exceptional.

January 2019 Catalog Sample. Smells orange-y and fruity. Tastes thin with little flavor – the smell is much stronger than the taste. Tastes good with honey, but mostly tasting hot honey water. Tasted 01.2019

Better than I thought it would be. Green tea with a surprising amount of citrus. I would drink this again.
