Golden Dragon Oolong is a rare and beautiful tea from Formosa (Taiwan). The Lush, floral aroma dances above the lightly herbaceous and peach-like taste. The dry leaf is made up of large, loosely twisted whole leaves and buds colored intricate shades of green and brown with white tips. The leaves’ shape is achieved by a laborious hand rolling, traditionally done to develop Golden Dragon Oolong’s sweet and delicate flavor.

What a delightful cup of tea. For those of you that like Oolongs that are on the light side, this is the perfect tea for you. I also like to steep my Oolongs at a much lower temperature and shorter time than advised.
I agree with DavidT on this one. . . double the amount of tea that you steep for one serving of this cup if you want a stronger flavor. I’ve always been a fan of Golden Dragon Oolongs, and for an RTD version of this, get Ito En’s Golden Dragon Oolong.
This delicious teas flows into a cuppa and suddenly my oh my. I sampled the Golden Dragon in a small batch with a thick walled teapot. It’s unclear tasting at first sort of malty. On second steep I did the timing right around a minute like the previous and then straight into a choicest gaiwan. The extract is mightily fermented with a twinge of mango. I’m doing additional steeps and just keeps it hot in the thermos because it has just a little insecticide maybe the stainless steel tumbler will mask. fingers crossed. Further more the Tie Guan Yin from this seller is an all around pick me up fine on any day hot or cold. And I maintain that the two of them tastes all right on additional steeps(presses) Further still there is one of Choicest Tea called Golden Dragon Yunnan Black Tea which I am reminded of every time drinking peets oolong.
Absolutely am in LOVE with this tea. I actually do the opposite. . .I steep less leaves for a less amount of time. . .turning the tea into a very smooth taste that I can drink pots of.
