I got this as a sachet-which I know-blasphemy. Oh well-I get a smaller serving I can finish quicker.
I’ve had the original darker oolong version, and was curious how a greener white tea combo would do. Stereotypically, the tea had a very strong green/white grape taste that I was hoping for. The muscatel/muscadine adjacent flavor is incredible, and a little bit of sugar enhanced the flavor-though it’s juicy enough straight for this type 1 diabetic. I usually get two to three cups depending.
I actually found this one a less fake than I expected. Sure, it has the distinct same fruit flavoring aftertaste as their other teas, but it wasn’t as over the top as the Melon Oolong was. I’m now curious about Amanatasu, which regretfully, I didn’t get because I either LOVE or hate orange flavoring. If it’s closer to Satsuma, I might like it. As for this one, I’m really pleased with it.
