From Honest Tea

Young enough to want to change the world, old enough to do it – City Year. We set out to change the world, starting with the beverage shelf. P.S. At Honest Tea, we brew things a little differently. This recipe uses real tea leaves, Maltese orange, and a hint of organic cane sugar. The result is a great-tasting, not too sweet organic green tea—especially rich in antioxidants. A satisfying experience that’s not sugar-coated, much like City Year.

After getting used to the face that it’s barely sweetened, I like it. The orange is a bit sour/tart, but blends well with the green tea. It’s hard to tell if the slight bitterness is the tea or the orange, really. Overall I’m glad I bought it (one sale for $1). I wish the grocery store had more flavors, but perhaps due to the sale, they had only this and a dragon oolong with passionfruit, which I skipped since I don’t like passionfruit. I wish more flavors of Honest tea were available in my area in plastic bottles. The glass ones are a bit too wide and heavy. I’d like to try the honey and pomegranate flavors sometime soon.

I saw this for the 1st time in a grocery store last week.

Kind of bitter, like they’ve oversteeped it. This is not my favorite of their iced teas. It tastes best chilled.
