Had no recollection whatsoever of drinking this before, but I definitely did, since the packet only had a cup’s worth left. It’s actually better than I expected for what I thought was more of a “functional” tea – there’s a really nice berryish flavour (currants?), it’s just a tad sweet, and you can taste the grassy base (always a plus for me, assuming the base is good). I’m also picking up some light florals – possibly jasmine? Really quite pleasant for a flavoured green, and zero astringency.

This tea is very light in flavour; I mostly pick up raspberry, black currants, and light notes of green tea. The green tea taste is extraordinarily smooth with no astringency whatsoever. I can definitely understand why people have said it tastes vaguely medicinal. The stevia taste is definitely present but it doesn’t bug me too much. I find that the first few sips I enjoy, but after that it becomes a bit of a chore to drink a full mug of this one. We’ll see how sipping down my sizeable stash of this blend goes.

I bought this impulsively at the David’s sale without tasting or smelling it first because I was intrigued by the fig and raspberry flavors, but I am pretty disappointed in it. There is an aftertaste (possibly from the Stevia) and the overall blend is almost medicinal tasting to me. I have tried it both iced and hot and did not care for it in either preparation. Definitely not my favorite flavor combination.

It was a green tea heavy day for me at work today…

That’s probably for the best given there’s so many I need to try/check off the list. This is another one that, like Witch’s Brew, is on its way out of stores once stock runs out. I had it hot and found it surprisingly pleasant; based on the ingredients list I was skeptical of whether or not I’d like it. I did keep my steep time light handed though, which probably helped.

Strongest flavours in the cup were the raspberry, fig, and rosehip with just teeny tiny whisps of the currant, and ginko. The actual green tea base was very light as well; mostly masked by the fruit notes. Overall it was just smooth, mellow and fruity which made it really easy to sip on inbetween helping customers. I’m just a little sad now that is is a retired blend but as a coworker put it today “It’s just sort of forgettable overall, even though it’s not bad at all” and I think she was right. This was nice to drink, but nothing about it stands out so I guess I see why it’s not sticking around long term.

Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts regarding the teas, and not the company’s.

I didn’t like this tea iced, so I gave it one more try hot… Still not enjoying it much. It has some weird ingredients going on, though. So maybe that’s why. It’s not bad – I can taste the fruitiness, which is good. But I guess there’s just something in it that I don’t like.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago. It is pretty tasty. It’s got a sweet and sour taste going on, but not a bad sour. This is quite good. I think it will be even better iced.

I brewed this one time in a 16oz Teavana Glass Perfect Tea Maker/Gravity Steeper with 3 tsp leaf and 175 degree water for 3 minutes.
