Strong bergamot balanced nicely with a creamy bouquet, very nice when Earl Grey is what you crave!

Since I have milk in the house— a rare occurrence—I opted for this, with milk. Delicious. I don’t really know what to tell you about this. It is much like, if not the same as, DT’s version. In the odd times that I crave an Earl Grey Cream, this is the kind I reach for.

Thankfully, I was able to fall back asleep after being woken at 5 am and kept awake till 6 with my neighbours’ exercise ritual. As opposed to my usual state of sleep-walking like the living dead after their assaults on my sleep. It is not the noise so much anymore as whatever devices, wifi, Bluetooth whatevers they are using alongside that activate my brain and keep it hostage until they stop and shut the things off. If anyone has any insights into this, I’d be happy to hear about it.

In all my years, I’ve only ever had Earl Grey one other time. I wasn’t a fan. First thing I notice when I opened the package was that from a foot from my nose I could smell cream. But when I smelled the dry leaf up close, the scent was more citrus and what I assume is bergamot (it smells nothing like all the Bath&Body Works scents with bergamot that I love so much), and then that creamy smell.

This isn’t terrible, I’m still not a big bergamot fan, but the creamy notes round out the blarg and make it drinkable. If served, I would drink it, but wouldn’t choose it given a choice. Better than the other EG I had though, and if you like the blargamot you’ll enjoy this.
