I missed #matchamonday by a day, but I still wanted to get some matcha today since it’s been a while since I had some, what with advents. I whisked this up in a new mug from Bitterleaf Tea too – the artist who made it is probably my favourite of the many reoccurring artists that BLT curates pieces from!
The matcha is bright and tropical, with tangy top notes of pineapple and a surprisingly distinct note of baobab and more coconut in the finish. I’m not sure it’s a matcha that I would repurchase, though it’s probably very refreshing iced, but I definitely think it’s quite unique and I’m really glad I tried it!
