451 Tasting Notes
I got this as a sample in a recent order. I was also sick when I drank this, so all I remember about the taste was that it was “hot and pleasant.” This does smell strongly of peppermint, which I like, and it did make me feel better. Would definitely purchase this if I wasn’t feeling well.
I really wanted to love this one.
I bought this as a work tea because I was running out of herbals, and I need them to balance out the other teas I’m fond of drinking. This was one that sounded so good to me on Adagio’s site. And it is good. It’s just not as caramel tasting as I expected. Good, kind of sweet, but also woody. I liked this one, but I probably won’t reorder it.
Flavors: Wood
Not vanilla, not creamy, kind of bland and astringent. So disappointed by this one.
Grabbed this one as my free tea just because it smelled good. Packaged it up for work, and ended up using it as a travel tea. I think I might be getting better at discerning by smell what I’ll like and not like, because I’m really enjoying this one. At its best, it tastes like a orange creamsicle to me. The orange is definitely the strongest flavor, but I’m loving the creamy undertones to this one.
I think my cupboard has gotten messed up, because I sipped this one down months ago but Steepster is showing it. Hmmm.
Anyway.
I liked this one best as a cold brew – it was a little tart but bursting with citrusy flavor. Hot, a lot of that cirtus/sweet flavor translated but it was definitely more muted than in the cold brewed version.
