I’ve been here almost a year too! 6 more weeks. My how steepster has changed in the last year… I think we’re due for more:)

Well I got several months more before I hit that one year, but yes, it definitely has changed a lot. All this tea….. lol

Thank you! I couldn’t quite put into words what I was getting with this tea. “Plastic” is just about right.

Glad, I’m not alone on that. Adagio’s a great starter though. I don’t regret getting this tea a while back.

September will be my 1 year anniversary on Steepster…lol. Adagio is a great starter company. I’ve moved forward so much in my tea life since a year ago.

Samplers are so much fun! More companies have to jump on board and start producing sampler packs.

Instead of plastic / foil baggies?

Yeah, only company that packs sampler tins I can think of is Adagio.

Actually as a person who has almost exclusively sample sizes (2oz and smaller), while cute is attractive, I’d rather have resealable opaque bags. Those tins are just too cumbersome to store when you have as many as I do! lol. But then again most people probably don’t have as many as I do lol.

I should just sign off Steepster until I can get to my Canton sampler pack. (It’s sitting on my office desk while I’m away.) The tea-envy is getting to me.

I must have been really tired yesterday. I have a tendency to become really random and babble when I’m tired. It’s sort of like being drunk without the alcohol. =]

You should try half this/half black tea steeped and iced. It’s just WOW! Love it with our RadioactiviTEA.

Awww I wish I would have seen this one when I placed my order last week! I just found out that I REALLY like hojicha tea…well the one I had tasted like a caramal/sugary one, but it was amazing none the less :-)

I really like houjicha too and I buy LUPICIA’s Milk Caramel Houji every once in awhile. I like it plain but it’s also really good as a soymilk latte. Just steep the 5 tsp of the leaves in 1 cup of hot water then add 1 cup of milk and heat just before a boil and add a little sugar to taste. It’s really yummy and I think it helps the caramel flavor to work with the toasty houjicha flavor a little better. The weather’s a little warm now but maybe you can try it iced too. I bet it would still be good.
