DavidsTea does flavoured tea…that seems to be its niche and this one is flavoured to the max…it is best at a third steep…first steep is too powerful and the pure tea does not shine through…difficult balance to achieve…I want tea not “Disney” tea. My 82 rating is based on the third steep…once all the flavourings have been diluted down.
Flavors: Almond, Grass
Preparation
Too strong, the mint is overpowering and the chocolate is underpowering…one good thing is that you can steep it multiple times and it gets better…by the third steep I mixed it with a black tea and it was yummy.
Flavors: Chocolate, Peppermint
Preparation
I am a big fan of Pu’ erh tea and this one is not bad…I prefer pure Pu’ erh with no flavour, but if I am in the mood for a bit of flavour…DavidsTea is the place to go. It has a nice hot chocolate flavour with a mild dirt taste that I love of Pu’ erh (like dark chocolate)
Flavors: Chocolate, Dirt
Preparation
I like this tea, it has different flavours throughout the drinking experience. I get jasmine, wood, smoke, sweet, caramel and a touch bitter (on the second steep). It is also a fun tea to steep, the cute little spheres open up, very pleasing.
Flavors: Bitter, Caramel, Jasmine, Smoke, Sweet, Wood
