Mon 5/10 - Traditional Medicinals Organic Turmeric 2 teabags hot & plain. This was 4 teabags that came in a Sipsby box at some point. I drank two of these as something comforting with the warmth of temperature, turmeric, and ginger. Got the job done although was tasting a little stale.

Mon 5/10 - 52teas candy cane Genmaicha packet 15g cold brew pitcher. pitcher started at Canopy AM (between 630-655 am) before my 5/4? shift, finally drank last of it 5/10 warm in my trusty DT dark blue tumbler at work (wasn’t brewed that whole time. these are just noting for myself I know nobody else cares). I enjoyed this one, this is my second time drinking this I believe, Anne is always a winner when genmaicha wise and the “candy cane” added a nice sweet mint note. Wouldn’t go out of my way but if this appeared again in a subscription box or on the website, I wouldn’t be sad and grab a taster or two.

Fri 5/7 188/12 naked teas galore lemon meringue tulsi. I have a lot of this tea from Amoda, was in a sub box and then ended up buying a bunch. It’s definitely unique (maybe from tulsi?). first day at my new job and I sipped this hot and plain (silver metal basket in my trusty 20 DT dark blue tumbler steeped boiling water for at least an hour). It was a nice soothing cuppa for the afternoon.

I have an order coming soon (from Jan 2021 winter brunch collection) with my March/April sub box, I have just placed 5/10 an order for her new collection (and another one pending waiting for the next weekly offers/deals newsletter), and figure I better get working on the 324283903248 teas I have from her in almost 2 years of DbyD. Not my cuppa, definitely a floral earl grey black tea.

Thursday 5/6 — Lauku Tea Brigita’s Daylight Blend. Sipsby box. Cold brew glass jar. Uh, it’s Thursday? WTF happened to Weds? Oh! I know! I had work, then I had an impromptu casual sit down/interview/job offer, then I came home to tell my boyfriend (who I live with) & my parents (phone call) about job opportunity, then my Columbus Crew were outplayed by Monterrey in CCL play to be eliminated losing down in MX 3-0. I sipped on tea, but nothing was finished 5/5 (I guess a store kombucha GTS Lavender Love). Anyway, I sipped this this morning after it has been brewing in my fridge for a few days. Very herby herbal. Was cold and got the job done this morning with breakfast.

Tuesday 5/4 — Friday Afternoon Tea Maple Hojicha. I love love this one! This is a hojicha tea + natural maple flavoring – simple but delicious. Had two sample packets from an old Sipsby box (I thought I had already drank those because that’s what introduced me to Friday & her tea company!) & cold brewed and YES. I am pretty sure I have bigger bags of this is my Friday Tea stash from all the orders I made last/this year online + in person last Sept when in Seattle. Will have to keep this around permanently, also try hot and cold/hot latte. :D

Tuesday 5/4 —Miracle Tree Moringa Mango 2 teabags. Last of the 4 I had from an old Sipsby box.

Last/this/next week my schedule at work isn’t too bad, I have a couple new coworkers (2 ladies) at my main hotel who I’m enjoying, soccer season is starting up (#columbustilidie GO CREW! (:), get to see my immediate family for first family gathering since March 2021 later in the month, life is good.. just need to get my 3-4 trips minimum in (getting that travel bug itch), more if possible… and then I seriously do it to myself and work a double shift 5/4 (7-2 and 3-11) 5/4 which is fine because 5/5 was an off day.. and then working 7-3 as well 5/5. Oof. I guess I’ll nap in the afternoon of May 5th?

Anywho – TL;DR LIFE IS FULL BUT GOOD and I brewed this hot & plain (2 teabags) in my trusty DT navy blue tumbler and had in evening shift at my regular hotel.
