Mmmm, flowers almonds rose nuts jasmine – all my favorite things! This tastes like I’m eating a nutty teacake in a European garden. Win! Thank you, Sil, for sharing with Shmiracles so I could have a taste :)
I’ve been stressed out about work, but doing lovely things like listening to opera and running and reading fanfic and planning a trip to Eastern Europe, so I can’t complain. But that’s what I’ve been doing while I’ve been AWOL, JSYK. Happy Summer Friday Shmiracles’ Birthday Day!

I love this tea too! Sounds like a great day. Have fun trip planning! Where are you planning to visit?
Vienna, Budapest, Prague, Venice, Sarajevo, possibly in that order :) So excited! I’ve never been to any of those places, and I get to plan and go and see dear friends.
Nice, and to have friends to show you around even better. I realise now that I’ve mostly been to Coastal parts of Europe. The only place in that list I’ve been to is Venice. One of my friends lives part of the year in Bosnia and my Aunts niece is in Vienna though. Have fun. I’ve heard that they are all great places to visit.
I’ve been to Western Europe once, and Venice is kind of in the middle, but it’s so easy to just hop on a train and go wherever once you’re there… I’m really excited about Bosnia, actually. Maybe you can visit your aunt’s niece someday! There’s so much in Vienna, I think I’m going to wear myself out pretty fast. Not that I’m complaining…
So true about Venice and Vienna! I’ve been to Zagreb and Dubrovnik in Croatia and Belgrade ( briefly in Serbia). Bosnia seems really dynamic right now. Though my perspective on it is through my friend who is a photographer.
Awesome! Does your friend have any pics posted online? Worth a try :) I’m considering a late night train layover in Zagreb but that’s really not the way to see a city!
He does, but he mostly does portfolio shots, and fashion/celeb shots. He is a photographer for a local edition of Grazia a fashion/celeb magazine. Most of his landscape shots are from his travels. He spends part of the year on a cruise ship. He documented the flood in his hometown. He has a lot of pictures on his company Facebook site, but be warned there ate a lot of pictures of half dressed men:-).
