Buttery and sweet, tastes a bit like honeydew. Retains flavor over many steeps. Just my type of oolong. Gets a B/B+ from me.

Damn good cup, not sure how to describe it yet but it’s rather smokey and smells even more so on repeated steeping (the first 3 or so are the most enjoyable taste-wise). Something about it reminds me of Lapsang. I highly recommend this one, even though I usually go for lighter, fruitier oolongs.

Edit: I get hints of tobacco, in a pleasant way, still trying to decipher the other flavors

Vegetal and sweet, quite a good tea. Got a few gram sample from Red Blossom. I would drink this again.

Review is for Spring 2013 batch. Quite good oolong, my favorite flavor profile. Butter/malted milk taste. Very resteepable. I may order this…

Smokey, especially good with meals. Not a standout, but pleasant. Reminds me of TTC’s Oriental Oolong, except better.

This is actually a review of Lot #249 of this year.

Nice unbroken leaf; creamy, floral (like Osmanthus), slight melon / cantaloupe flavor. Lingering aftertaste, light liqueur, doesn’t lose strength on resteepings (can go 5 or more), leaves smell amazing in a gaiwan. Tastes similar to Lishan Cui Feng, will have to do a closer comparison of the two soon.

Granted, there’s not much I can say since I don’t have the tea anymore to compare, but I like buttery, floral oolongs and I loved this one. I hope that helps. Maybe I’ll pick it up again for the sake of documentation :)

Another winner from TTC, I thoroughly enjoyed this oolong. I think TTC’s best are the high-mtn oolongs, at least from what I’ve tried. Not much to say, other than classic Dong Ding. Highly recommended.

I couldn’t get into it, not what I’m looking for in an oolong. Kind of squash-like. Okay if you use a small amount of leaf, I guess, but not the best from TTC.

Pretty damn good; tastes sort of like Darjeeling, a little malty and quite delicious. Quite different from the floral oolongs I usually drink, but I’m pleasantly surprised.
