A nice warm mug of my fave genmai-cha to help me code through the night. =)

My morning thermos is packed today of mostly matcha and a bit of genmaicha to give it a nutty kick. (I usually do my matcha/genmaicha combo in reserve with much more genmaicha than matcha).

I keep a very few tins of tea in my desk drawer at lab (I really should bring some more). And so for lunch today it was really between the Ti Kuan Yin and the Oolong #8. I went with the Ti Kuan Yin just because it’s my favorite of the two.

I’ve been hoarding my last bit of this for a ridiculous amount of time now (ever since they were “out of stock” and then “discontinued”). But this morning I just had to have some fruity but light. Because I knew it was going to be a long day, I decided to spoil myself and pack my thermos with a bit of Mango Green, which was amazingly awesome. I really wished this hadn’t been discontinued.
