10 Tasting Notes
I received this as a sample packet today, and yeah, it’s pretty darn good. It basically smells like a coconut tea with an undertone of mint, but tastes like the opposite. I find mint tea to be a little bland and ordinary, though. I like DAVIDStea because of the flavours I’ve never tried before; they really give a boost to the tea routine in my house. I’m not sure if I would buy this one just for the reasons I’ve mentioned, but if you really like your mint tea, and you want to spice it up, add some coconut :)
Oh, it’s good. It tastes more like synthetic blueberry than the real deal, but in my opinion, that’s a great thing. It’s so tasty, and sweet. It smells like blueberry muffins. I was so tempted to eat this tea that I actually picked out the blueberries afterwards: not the healthiest of moves.
If you like the blueberry taste found in muffins, cookies, etc. then you’re gonna love this tea.
Sooo delicious! Now, this is a summertime tea. I think it tastes best served cold, but it still is quite delicious hot. It tastes like a creamsicile more than anything, and hey, that can only be a good thing right? It’s light, it’s sweet, and I’m so confused how they successfully made it taste so creamy. It’s not too much lime, either. Honestly, you need to try this. It will bring a nice refreshing boost to your summer nights.
Just thinking about it makes me long for warm weather.
I didn’t know DAVIDStea could make a bad blend until I tried this one! Firstly, I was given a 100g tin from a friend for FREE because she hated it. At the time, I was shocked because every DT product had been so delicious. Well, I was wrong. Dead wrong. This tea tastes like potpourri or perfume. Ack. I kept it on hand when I was out of my more preferred blends, but every time I tried it, I was still utterly disappointed.
Don’t waste your dollars on this tea. Get Pumpkin Chai instead :D
Best tea on the DAVIDStea menu! I’ve been drinking this for over a year now, and I’m still not sick of it. I add an ounce of unsweetened vanilla or chocolate almond milk, and I am in heaven.
I find some of DAVIDSteas to be repetitive or similar, but this one stands alone as a truly delicious and amazing tea. It’s not so much the pumpkin taste (of which there is a lot) that does it for me, but the caramel undertone. If you like a mild chai, you will LOVE this tea.
It’s pretty good. It reminds me a lot of Mulberry Magic, but sweeter. I think I was a little too excited about it, so my expectations were pretty high; boasting a flavour like cookie dough is risky business and likely an impossible ambition, but their efforts are applauded.
It’s good. I’m happy with the purchase, but I won’t buy it again.
I love this tea. Perhaps it’s my Italian-Canadian heritage, and my fond memories of almond flavoured goodies from childhood, but this tea is just delicious. It’s like drinking Armaretto, sans alcohol. It also reminds me quite a bit of Dr. Pepper, but in a good way.
If you like almond flavouring, this tea is definitely for you! As soon as you open the package, you’re blasted with a strong mix of almonds and cherries, with an amazing tang. You can taste it, too ;)
Been curious about this one…is there a lot of cinnamon and spices in it?
I can’t taste either of those! I’m struggling to compare it to something/anything. Hopefully another Steepster will be able to.
I was assuming it would be more of a white chocolate tea with nutmeg in it. That’s about as close as I would expect a tea to be able to get to eggnog. :P
Cameron B., have you tried Della Terra’s Egg Nog? That tastes a LOT like egg nog. It’s amazing!
No, I haven’t. Probably won’t now that they got rid of their 1 ounce size. Greedy… :(
Well if it tastes anything like last year’s batch, you will be missing out! Though you could always just go get real egg nog at the store. xD So maybe not hahaha
