Its alright, tastes like all your other black chai teas. Not amazing but not bad. Also not a repurchase. I prefer my actual tea to be loose and herbal teas are fine bagged. But if you prefer a bagged chai, this might be one to try. But again, not a standout
Ive pretty much run out of mesmer teas to try that I can get at my closest local stores (except the Holiday flavors) I found this on a trip to a far out grocery store and figured I had tried the rest- why not try this? I love berries.. and Ive had great luck with all the berry tea Ive tried recently. This one was pretty sweet on its own. A nice berry taste that isn’t bitter at all. Usually these types of tea are. Reminds me if something like a lotion, the way it smells/tastes. A verry berry lotion or bath treat. Its pleasant.
I think Mesmer did a great job with this one. And to think I was skeptical! Its the perfect dessert tea with a nice caramel flavor. With a little sweetener and milk it makes that craving go right away!! Cant believe it took me to long to give it a try, in searching steppster, karel roobios seems to be plentiful from other companies and I see why. Nice option for a caffiene free latte when you dont want to flavor the plain one yourself!!
Flavors: Caramel
I was skeptical of this one because no matter how many cherry teas I have that are good, I always suspect it will taste like medicine. And I am almost always wrong. As I was with this one, it has the perfect cherry taste, wild idk. But it balances perfectly with the roobios. And is yummy with a bit of sweetener and froth as a latte. Hits the spot when ai am craving late night sweets. And cherry tea always helps me sleep better. Worth a try!! As for me, I think I found an herbal staple. i cant have black tea late, although a black tea latte is my fave but this will do!
Flavors: Cherry
I didn’t even know I was drinking stomach love tea until i just now googled it and now Ive had the entire box. Its an herbal one with a boring herbal- sweet fennel taste. Typical and forgettable. Not much chamomile. I don’t think it did anything special for my stomach. But I am happy to be done with all the super herbally flavors from mesmer. Yay!!
Flavors: Anise, Fennel
I think I have just fallen in love with Roobios. Its always been a nice caffeine free choice, but not my favorite. It still isn’t but I like it considerably more now. Especially this one with vanilla. I love lattes, and always crave them at night, but no can do with caffeine and I don’t buy caffeine free. Towards the end of the box, I decided to make it into a latte and it truly hit the spot!! Whats really nice about it is the vanilla, I can actually taste it and it compliments the Roobios nicely. This box has me excited to try the other varieties of Roobios.
Flavors: Vanilla
This is a weird combination but I like to try odd and new things so I went for it. It has ginseng as the active ingredient and let me tell you… its best not to have caffeine with it. Or maybe its just me. But it gave me heart palpitations. Energy was alright but I prefer caffeine. Taste is highly forgettable and Ive had it every day this week. Would not buy again.
Mmm Ginger tea. Its easy enough to make a Ginger Tea with fresh Ginger… but easiest to just pop some Ginger tea… into a mug. Since it has some snap I like mine with sweetener. It works… I think I like the Asian teas that come with dehydrated honey in it… but this works since the other type is not easily accessible.
Flavors: Ginger
This will be the last Sage tea for awhile. I have now tried all three of the different types on offer with Mesmer. This and the regular Sage are almost the same, with this being a little mellow. I thought it would have been stronger than regular sage but nope. Don’t really get much Eucalyotus and was shocked there was a tea, although it makes sense. Eucalyptus is one of my favorite oils so I thought this would have a similar sinus opening feeling. iIt woukd probably be very useful for cold and flu, but not the best tea to drink just for fun.
Definitely not the most appealing flavor when it comes to tea..but I’m trying them all! Anyway..the first time i Had this the apple stood out, every time after that I get a hit of lime. A stronger lime than apple flavor. But every now and then the apple would sneak up and come for me. Had a bit of sweetness to it. No honey necessary. It was…OK. Not something I would buy again.
Flavors: Apple, Lime
More Sage tea. Not my first choice of tea but Im determined to try them all. I love sage in chicken pot pie… tea is meh. But its good for your health allegedly. And helps with apetite control since it does not taste that good it stops all cravings completely for me. It tastes kinda like Rosemary. I think they have some of the same chemical makeup is why. Cool one to try but not something I would buy again. I did just pick up a box of the Sage Eucalyptus so well see how that one goes. In comparison to the honey Sage, I would go for this over that
Not too long ago I reviewed a Turkish Apple Fig tea from Mesmer. Except that one said Bayram. IDK if they are the same. I can’t remember what it tasted like. I would like to think they are different. Anyway..the apple had some tart to it the first time I tried it And then you get the fig part. It’s named appropriately. And enjoyable..but very forgettable. Would I buy recommend? Ehhhhh. I wish there was an option for maybe
Flavors: Fig, Green Apple
I didn’t have high expectations for this tea..but I was pleasantly surprised. Berry tea’s can be a lot of miss for me. This one is a blend of elderberry, blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, and blackberry with your rosehip and hibiscus. I thought it might be a little bitter when steeped like rosehip/hibiscus always is. It’s nice hot..but shines when you drink it cold. It becomes almost like a berry koolaide without all the sweet. But still I don’t need to add sweetener. I like it. I would definitely pick this one up again in the summer or just if I need a berry tea.
Flavors: Cherry, Sweet
Just the sour taste of Rosehip and hibiscus. It has great health benefits though with its high vitamin C content. And it supposed to be good for the heart. I think its one you drink for the benefits rather than taste.Just depends what you are looking for.
Flavors: Sour
I originally wasn’t going to buy this because sometimes I made ginger tea from just ginger. I never add lemon though. I just kept thinking how easy it would be to make from fresh ingredients. But..nothing beats the convenience of the tea. So ultimately it went in the cart. It’s OK. It has that “ginger” bite with a slight tartness from the lemon. More flavor that I expected. Nice..if you need a ginger tea. Especially for upset stomach. A nice tea to start your day with…if you like lemons to start the day
Flavors: Ginger, Lemon
I had never even heard of Sage tea until I stumbled across this. Apparently Sage tea is really good for you. I figured with the addition of Honey and Vanilla it would be a good beginner tea. But somehow I forgot I am not the biggest fan of already sweetened teas. This tastes like Rosemary and Eucalyptus…just not very good to me. I also wanted to note the vanilla does not come through. I guess its redeeming quality is its probably good for you
Flavors: Eucalyptus
More Mesmer Tea. For some reason I was surprised to see this in my local grocery store. But I guess I really shouldn’t have been. The store close to me always has fresh turmeric. I’m not sure what the local people use it for. But…you can’t beat the health benefits of Turmeric. This isn’t my first turmeric tea. I had one…by an organic brand that I can’t quite remember the name of and am too lazy to look up. It was rooibos vanilla turmeric I think. And surprisingly pretty good. As is this one. Ingredients:Ingredients:
Turmeric (25%), lemongrass,
rose hips, cinnamon (15%), orange leave. It’s actually pretty nice. The cinnamon isn’t too crazy and tastes like there could be a few different spices other than cinnamon. But still muted like it’s from a tea bag. I like that I can see pieces of chopped turmeric. They are small but still. It is turmeric tasting…but it’s good and mellow. Nothing compared to “golden milk” though. You just can’t beat the richness and yumminess in that with milk and fresh spices. But this is decent for when I am feeling lazy but still want the hit of turmeric.
Preparation
I was just looking back through all of my tea reviews. I have really been buying all of the Mesmer teas. And looking at the rating I don’t like most of them…yet I’m compelled to keep trying them. IDK. Anyway…today’s tea is Tuscan Peach. Peach is a classic flavor…first time I opened the bag I really loved the smell. Classic peach scent…fruit and yummy. Luckily this one didn’t disappoint. It was sweet..and tasted like hot peach juice. Much more enjoyable when you let it cool. Nice…if you like peach/peach juice…I think this is a good one to try.
Flavors: Peach, Sweet
