This is one of my absolute favorite teas. It’s stands up to milk and sugar, has comforting vanilla, soothing peppermint, and lavender for I don’t know what, but I’m glad it’s there!
Flavors: Creamy, Lavender, Mint, Peppermint, Vanilla
Preparation
Lavender, vanilla, and peppermint is an awesome combination. It is executed quite well in this blend, which has held up nicely over time. Alas, it’s a sipdown. I wouldn’t mind keeping this in my regular rotation (you know, in the magical universe where my stash isn’t totally out of control). I should probably stop watching The Newsroom now and go to sleep…
Flavors: Creamy, Lavender, Peppermint, Vanilla
I picked this up in store when I was in Tampa. It smells delightful. The mint hits first, but the lavender and vanilla are quick to follow. The flavor is an even balance of refreshing mint and soothing lavender, rounded out with vanilla and a woodsy rooibos. The mintiness lingers long after the sip. I’ll be sad when this is gone…
I got a lovely package in the mail from Kaylee that was packed full of unexpected samples, this lovely gem among them. I really love lavender and this cup was the perfect way to wind down last night. Well balanced peppermint and lavender flavours, with just a touch of sweet and creaminess to smooth things out. Delicious!

Preparation
Caramel Mate was one of my first loose teas. It really was the bridge from “Tea Dust” in a bag to the real deal. So I might be a bit biased with this lovely tea.
First of all, the tea came out to a lovely liquor brown. It smells of roasted leaves ( as it should be, it IS a roasted Mate) and a hint of sweetness from the caramel. It’s a nice combination and neither scent overpowers the other.
Unfortunately, I don’t taste the caramel. All I can pick up is the roasted Mate. It’s a pleasant and mild in taste and surprisingly it tastes better without the Carmel.
I give this tea a 4.5/5 because though it’s fantastic, the name lie’s about it’s true flavor.
