This sample from Sips by was only 3 teaspoons, only big enough for one large mug. I really enjoyed the flavor. It is quite cookieish, with the white chocolate and other flavors completely covering up the rooibos base. The almond and other desserty flavors all go together really well. It’s especially good with milk. I may have to order some more. The second steep was strong too. I taste a lightly spiced sugar cookie with an almost fruity icing, but not quite.

Saturday 2/6 With being so transient lately I am trying to use up my samples. This was from an old sipsby box, clearly a DT forever nuts dupe. Unfortunately I’m not a fan of this flavor profile anymore. This package said 4 servings (meaning 8 oz x 4), I made it in maybe 24 oz of hot water and just sipped it while doing other stuff in the room in the morning.

This one isn’t my favorite so I’m thankful it’s a small packet!

It’s not bad or anything, just all chocolate flavoring, which I never seem to get along with. The base is smooth and nondescript, and I do get a little hint of cacao nib, but it’s mostly drowned out by artificial and boozy chocolate taste.

Meh!

This is from my January Sips by box.

As yummy as the name sounds, I was really not excited for this one. I often have a difficult time with chocolate flavoring in tea, as it always tastes so waxy and artificial to me. But here we go…

Yeah, not a fan… The chocolate flavoring has an almost boozy quality to it, as well as tasting like cheap Easter chocolates. I’m not sure I can taste the cacao nibs or the coriander here, unfortunately. A pity, coriander sounded like such an interesting addition!
