518 Tasting Notes
This tea is nice.
I’ve got a nice, relaxed feeling going on.
I started at 205° and the tea was a little bitter. I dropped to 195° and the bitter is gone. Smooth, sweet, not quite fruity. I like it.
I love this little tea tray. It’s the perfect size for on my desk at the office, and holds my gaiwan and a cup. It catches my drips and sloshes. Easy clean up.

I just have a sample of this, and I’m disappointed that now the smallest size it’s available in is 15og that I will not be getting. Too much tea.

I like this tea. Floral. Creamy. Buttery. Sweet. Tasty.
I’m trying to battle the sore throat that has come from out of nowhere, and this seemed like it might help. Not sure that it is, but hey, it tastes good.
Oh man. I really liked all the samples from Green Terrace Teas. They should sell smaller sizes. Maybe a group order someday? I hope you get feeling better too!
I emailed them last week, they said 50g sizes will be back.

So this time I had this, it actually was the Loose version. (The tuocha version didn’t exist on here, and other reviews were for the tuocha, so I added my reviews here.)

It’s a nice energy, without too much of a buzz. A calm energy today.

I was sad when it faded.
It’s always a good sign when you are sad that the tea is over :)
So, what’s better…the tuocha or the loose leaf?
I liked them both. I didn’t really compare them, and this was the end of the loose I have. I did buy a cake as well. That’s how much I like this. Mini Tuocha is sooooo convenient.

I wanted something easy drinking to get me past the last tea I tried. I picked this one.
Just the right about of everything to this tea. It’s easy to drink, a good, smooth flavor, barely floral. Smells delicious. It’s nice. Just right.
Nothing super special, but nothing bad at all.
Very convinient if you have no time or lazy to fuss. Glad you liked it.

It was funny, I kept getting all these little pieces of rose in my cup. My gaiwan lid wasn’t holding them back. I should have used the filter, but I was feeling lazy. It just made it pretty.

I hate dregs in my tea.
I have a strainer that came with my gaiwan. I didn’t think about using it. I probably should have. I didn’t mind. Like I said, it made it pretty.

It’s sad when a tea comes so highly recommended and just isn’t doing it for me.
I found this one bitter. In a not good way. I did really short infusions with it, and it was still just tasting bitter to me. The leaf in the bag looked pretty broken, so maybe that was it? I dunno.
It is a good smoky, but the bitter just didn’t go right and did awful things for me.
I’m sad to say that I didn’t like this one.
I will send you another sample. You are right probably because its broken leaves. At that time I didn’t have a cake. So it was leftover. Now I do have one ;). Will send you soon
