Working on sipping through a tin. It’s actually quite good! 1 minute steep time, 1 sugar cube. Pretty tasty vanilla flavor.

Dustin

You must have an old stash of sugar cubes. I can’t find them in stores anywhere since the pandemic. It took out the most random items!

Dustin: Have you ever made sugar cubes? It is sooo easy and fun! I had a silicone mold for little roses and made rose shaped sugar “cubes.” They are for fancy tea parties with little kids that I teach!

Dustin

I have not tried that! With all the things I do make I’m kinda surprised it hasn’t really occurred to me to try to make my own sugar cubes!

I actually found some on Amazon, but making your own sounds much more fun!

This was not good. I’ve been generally unimpressed with the Tea Forte sampler I got.
Had a really strong synthetic caramel flavor that was not tasty at all.

This is a super safe, tasty black tea. Nothing extraordinary, but a nice lingering sweetness and stone fruit/milk chocolate flavor. Not bad, but not something I necessarily need to get again.

Finished off a 15g bag. Still super starchy and delicious, but there is a maple quality that I am not loving don’t remember tasting previously.

This really got better and better as it aged. The smokiness became much more subtle, which allowed the vanilla to really bloom. Really enjoyed it and may purchase again when my stash gets under control.

I enjoyed this blend, but it wasn’t amazing enough to buy it again. The little silver ball sprinkles were pretty cute though. I’m a sucker for sprinkles.

I placed an order with Deb, as I wanted to buy some of her blends for gifts…of course I couldn’t resist buying myself a few new-to-me blends. This was one of them. It’s okay. Very very anise forward, so it’s more of a coconut anise chai?

My sip downs are very sad compared to where I would like to be at. But, I haven’t been buying too much new tea, so at least the collection isn’t substantially growing (until I go to Paris next month).

I hope you have the best trip!

My previous rating still stands. It was fine, but a little bit of a weird mouthfeel and a lingering sweetness that wasn’t quite right.

A perfectly fine straight peppermint, but nothing special.
