Herbal Traveling Tea Box
Very delightful cup of tea. Very fruity. Not all that tart-didn’t even add a touch of sweetener.. although I easily could have to give it more of a sugary appeal. Found myself strangely thirsty after this one, though. It is a little bit similar to goji pop by Davidstea. Delicious and fruitful.

mmm, this tea smells gorgeously of rose. It brewed to a lovely ruby red color. Color and smell are spot on rose. Stunning!:] I enjoy that the floral tastes dance with the fruit in an intricate samba, not overly fruity but not overly floral. A very relaxing tea. It’s got me all yawny and ready for a nap. :P

Teas back to back like this really cuts down on the time it takes for my water to boil. Less eager anticipation and more happy frolicking taste buds^.^
Wow. I’m surprised that I like this one as much as I do. I was expecting it to be much tarter than it was. And the cinnamon mingles just exquisitely with the flavors of the fruit. It almost tastes like apple cider to me. Mm. Yum.

Have you ever experienced the splendor of having two traveling tea boxes in your possession at one time?? :O This is my life right now. I can’t believe that it is real. Oh my goodness gracious, I think that I may have just died and gone to tea drinker’s heaven. . For being my first TTB experience, Steepsters, you have blown me out of the park! There is so much joy just radiating from the house right now…but it does take a certain skill to dance about the house without spilling hot tea all over oneself. But, by the end of the day, I just may have it mastered. I think our dog believes that I have completely lost my bananas. Ohhhh, yesss. . So please excuse me as I enjoy my massive tea fest and flood your dashboard with my adventures. :P

Jelly beans in tea…hmm.. what an interesting concept. But why not? Teas have sprinkles in them all the time. After all, today is the day of so much tea, might as well start it off with a bang!:P I ended up getting a jelly belly in my sample scoop-an A&W cream soda one to boot, my favorite! After steeping it…the tea didn’t seem to have too much flavor to me. Very light of coconut and vanilla. Kind of surprising. I expected a much bolder taste. It tastes good, just wish the flavor was amplified a bit. while writing this note, the tea cooled There is the flavor I was looking for! Vanilla, coconut, and maybe even a hint of pineapple. So much better! Yum! Still a little soft on flavor but still a nice tea.

The seemingly odd pairing of lemon with pepper is what caught my eye on this tea. It is a decent lemony tea but I was expecting a bit more pizzazz from the pepper as I could hardly taste it. I think I would have enjoyed it a bit more if the peppercorns had a little bit more bite. The loose leaf looks like white ayurvedic chai by Teavana-quite colorful and beautiful. Overall, not bad if you want a lemon-esque tea just don’t expect too much flavor from the peppercorns.

This is the last Adagio tea in my line-up. After taking a sniff, oh gosh, almost had to put it back. Not only is it is medicinal smelling but it smells exactly like the medicine that made me oh so sick when I snapped my wrist across the growth plate. But had to give it a chance, after all, it worked out for the lemon cloud tea.
As with the vanilla rooibos, it was just okay. The liquid has a gorgeous orange color, but the flavor wasn’t there for me.

Watching the Fifa USA vs. Ghana game.. Oh my lordy, talk about a head smash:O Glad they are starting to take head injuries a little bit more seriously. But those poor players, makes my head ache in empathy..
This tea is much like the game right now… just ehhh. It’s a bit too woodsy and a little less vanilla-y than I would have liked. Not a bad tea, just nothing to write home about.

Grabbed the next tea in the line-up….“oooh lemon,” I thought^.^ But then I smelled the leaves…very medicinal smelling… now I’m worried…o.o…5 minutes later of pacing about worrying about how it is going to taste: oo la la..this is delicious! It’s like a sweet lemon bar in a tea! Ohhh, yeah. Cream, lemon, the whole nine! :D So good on it’s own, touch of agave puts it over the edge into that delicious dessert tea category. Might have to make another cup of this later..tehehe >:]

I haven’t had great experiences with Adagio teas so far. However there is a fandom sampler I want so I’ll make sure to grab some of this tea when I order it (eventually… lol).
Ooo, which fandom sampler? :]
They also create a new fandom sampler that is only available for a single weekend.. (They had a how to train your dragon one the weekend the new movie came out:]) so if you have more than fandom, keep an eye out for them:]!
It’s the Cowboy Bebop one, I emailed them asking if they would feature it as a sampler for a weekend and they said yeah, so hopefully it’ll be soon! Paying $9 a piece for six teas just isn’t happening for me. :P
Oh, an anime fan! :D Do you watch lots of anime?
That’s awesome that they are going to do that for you! I agree with you there because, of course, the whole whole set is necessary:D Plus, the sampler sets are just so darn cute!

So I’m just about to start my tea-testing marathon… Picked out this yummy smelling tea from the mound of tea that I can hardly wait to try..and practically sprinted downstairs in excitement.. only to realize that I left my good tea infuser at my mom’s house… knew this was bound to happen as I insist to carry all my tea with me on visits in my traveling tea bag /sigh/ Luckily, I found my spare infuser in the drawer /happy dance/ . Life is good:]
This tea is pretty delicious! It smells a little bit like kool-aid so that makes me giggle of happy childhood memories. Luckily, this tea lacks that artificial kool-aid taste and replaces it with fruity goodness.. yum:] At first sip, it was a bit too tart, but with just a touch of agave, it sweetened right up leaving a strawberry melody. Tantalizing images of trying this tea iced danced about in my head…so I couldn’t help but to leave the rest of my cup to do just that. And dare I say, it is even more delicious iced? Yes, I do!:D
Nice cup of full-bodied fruity goodness.
