So far I havn’t had much from non flavored green teas, but figure i’ll try again. This time i actually payed attention to the steeping instructions.
Not bad, doesn’t taste bitter like previous times i’ve had this tea, probably because i steeped it way less than I had previously.
To me I doesn’t have alot of taste, but maybe that’s how green tea is supposed to taste? It smells very good and has a cozy feel to it, but pretty much tastes like hot water to me with a little tea aftertaste.

If you’re steeping and decanting this, it really can’t be compared to regular matcha. As far as other greens, all greens (especially Japanes greens) are not created equal and can be vastly different depending on you prepare them. Here’s a great resource (Den’s, w/ the sampler) on how to prepare greens:

Too get a more favorable (and stronger) flavor you may want to tweek the steeping parameters a bit, especially the tea:water ratio. 2g (1 heaping tsp) of leaves steeped in 3oz of 180F purified water for 1 min may work better for you. I hope it does!
