This is one of my favorites. I’ve been searching for a replacement keemun because I feel this one is a little overpriced. But it’s so good! Dry leaf smells like pipe tobacco. It has a very thick mouthfeel. Notes of red wine. This has very complex flavors, I taste something different every time I drink it. I’ll be tasting this tea all day as I go about my business.

I had this today at the local coffee shop. I very much enjoyed it. The jasmine came through very clearly. It was exactly what I needed.

I like this more every time I drink it.

I’m getting through these Nina’s samples, and they’ve all been pretty good. Some great.

This is a smoky gunpowder with mint.

Baladé is the french word for walk, but it’s also the name of a Lebonese restaurant in New York City. That’s very fitting, because to drink tea with mint is a very Arabic thing to do. More precisely, drinking tea with mint and rose water is a very very Arabic thing to do. That’s how I’m enjoying this tea right now. Insha’Allah

Oh my! This is a tea after my own heart. This is the best rose flavored tea I’ve ever had. It’s the closest thing to using real rose water. The apple flavor is directly proportionate to the rose and neither taste anything short of the real thing. I got this as a sample and I’ll be placing an order immediately. For me, this tea is a “must have” in my cabinet.

I like this much more now. After a couple rinses you can taste the puerh much more and the toffee calms down a bit. Add a little bit of agave nectar and we’re in business.

Tea is like art. Sometimes it’s open to interpretation. That’s the case with this tea, the flavors are so subtle and ambiguous that it allows my subconscious to imply whatever it wants onto the canvas of this flavor painting.

This is a VERY good mao feng green tea by anyone’s estimation. I LOVE Market Spice, they have very good tea for CHEAP! I’m excited if you can’t tell.
The dry leaf smells floral. When hot this tea smells like, well, green tea as you could imagine. After it cools off a bit I get cinnamon notes and chocolate on the finish. I love this junk and it’s only $50 a pound.
