I had seen The Tea Spot company in person at a farmer’s market in Boulder… never sampled or purchased on my own. My friend gave me a tin of their Earl Grey tea for my birthday.. and it was delicious. The name “Red Rocks” has a special place in my heart because I have been there many times, once to see the gorgeous sunrise! I love rooibos tea and rooibos + vanilla + nuts sounded too good to pass up! The cup was surprisingly mild. I didn’t taste necessarily a creamy dessert tea, but it was a nice woodsy, slightly sweet cup. Thank you Brandy!
I’m starting to think that maybe tiramisu teas and I will never fit. I adore the real thing, but so far the teas I’ve had have been misses. This tea was somewhat uneventful. I didn’t taste anything I could put my finger on. It was more of, “there’s sweetness there, a little bitterness here”. It was a decent cup as I drank 3/4 of it, but I suppose nothing jumped out at me and made this one truly tiramisu in a cup. I’m very glad that I was able to sip this one, though! It had been one of my top Teavana teas to try! Thank you Brandy for this sample.
This tea has a fantastic banana flavor. I would like for my other banana teas to taste like this! The thing that bothers me, though, is the black tea doesn’t taste very “fresh” or of good quality. The base really brings down the cup of tea.. making it just okay. Thank you to JoeCool for sharing!
This is very yummy! The scent, when steeping, is almost like a cake. I LOVE teas that smell and taste like cake.. and this is the first one that gives off that scent. Sipping: I really am liking the almond and coconut flavor combination. I can’t say that I can separate and identify which is which, but they’re delicious together. I’m tempted to see what milk would do to this.. if any addition would make it more rich. At this moment, though, I don’t think I can spoil a good cup of tea like this. Thank you Brandy3392 for sharing!
I had a cup of tea because it was quite cold out and I needed something warm to carry with me to class. I’d wanted to try this flavor from Republic of Tea and was happy that it was available at a local cafe. It had a great blueberry scent and a sweet blueberry taste. I also like that the black tea wasn’t too strong. It’s interesting, but as I’m tasting more and more of Republic of Tea’s fruity blends, they all seem to have the same flavor element. No matter if it’s a green or black.. and I’m not sure if it’s a good thing or a bad thing. Anyway, this cup was smooth and pleasant to have in class.
Thank you, Brandy3392 for this cup of tea! It smells like a nice black tea combined with a strawberry candy I ate ages ago. The taste is light and delicate! The aftertaste is similar to a candy heart. There is somewhat of a faint flavor of champagne in the swallow, and I really like that it adds dimension to the entire sip. Really a lovely, fancy and beautiful tea! I want to save this for special occasions, but do see myself drinking this weekly or daily instead.
The description of this tea makes it sound so good! I was looking forward to all of the individual flavors. I’m tasting just black tea.. a breakfast blend of sorts. No strawberry or cream or rum. If you sat this cup in front of me, I would really think that it’s a plain black, not flavored.
