This is a great starter pu-erh. I wish this would have been my first pu-erh trial. I started with a plain pu-erh. Now with the lightness of trying this, I’m going to go back and try my plain pu-erh with a different attitude.

As for tasting, has a nice light strawberries and cream essence, but the pu-erh shines through nice and delicately. First sip is nasal strawberry. Some light musty pu-erh notes, then an acidic or is it alkalinic? After taste on your tongue like when you test a 9 volt battery. Some metallic irony hints as well. This was the only tea I really liked out of my first Teavana purchase.

I actually brewed 3 minutes (slider doesn’t work well on mobile) and water temp about 1 minute after I stopped the boil.

The coconut leaves a nice film that is actually really moisturizing to your lips. I did not think the coconut flavor would be so intense becuase I could not see any flakes or chunks in the tea. Lemoongrass can at times be very overpowering. It seems like the amount of Lemongras added is perfect. Very light on the LGrass as to just leave a hint of smell and even less taste.

This is my first Oolong other than your typical Chinese restaurant tea. It kind of has the aftertaste of hour old fruity gum-First tasting notes are floral light citrus-I guess the Oolong are the little darker clumps—I think mine was pretty light on the Oolong, so I probably mostly just got the herbal part of this one-I think this will be a great refreshing tea to chill and put in a bottle for summer drinking. No additives, just straight tea-Very pleased—Although side note I am not sure if this is the Rishi brand, I got it from my local tea merchant and it was called Organic Citrus Oolong, he sells by the ounce, but this is the most similar tea I could find and from the pic, it looks the same
