687 Tasting Notes
My tea with Harvest Moon today. This smells nicely like baked bread, and a little malt. The flavour is sweet, and makes me think of a light cocoa. There is a hint of fruit as well. Good to have will virtual farming.

Happy Spring! Yesterday, I went to a gem show and read in a garden. Some of the trees stared to blossom, and there were some lovely Spring flowers.
This smells really nice, like nuts and honey. Maybe a bit of pistachio nougat as well. There is a nice, sweet flavour. The nut taste comes out nicely. Now I wish I tried the original.

Happy St Paddy’s Day. Since I really like Irish Breakfast, I picked this up at the store a few months ago. There is sweet scent, and a bit darker than I’m used to. The flavour is bold and smooth, with just a hint of sweet malt. Went well with my Irish cream bread pudding.
Captain’s Personal Log-
My replicator seems only capable of making hot earl grey. While fortunate when we had a visiting Captain, not my preferred beverage. And there is only so much raktajino I can drink. Then I found this on a recent Shore Leave. Scent- I get some malt, and baked bread. The flavour is similar, with a hint of spice.
My First Officer says there are apricots, and I get some as the tea cools. Will have to make sure the Mess Hall has some on hand before our next mission.

My cup while watching anime, and playing a certain farming game. The leaves smell like cashew, but I get more plum in the brew. There is a sweet, cake-like flavour. Don’t think I’ve had any cashew cake, but I want one now. Overall, very good.

So, I decided to try more teas this weekend. (Along with playing more Harvest Moon.) There is a light pumpkin scent, and bit of spice. Not sure if there is cinnamon in this, but my subconscious thinks there should be. The flavour is nicely pumpkin as well. It even has that slightly tangy taste that apple cider has. Good for the season of ‘almost Spring’.

I favor the handheld versions too. The game is too addictive – I need to take it with me everywhere when I’m playing.
Oh….maybe that’s why I don’t have very many friends in my adult life…because I just didn’t leave my house back then lol Gosh, how I loved waiting for those adorable baby cows to be born.
My favourite is probably the Mineral Town games.
I’m in my second season of “a new beginning”, but I didn’t know those yellow flowers were so important, and I sold most of them in Spring…. ugh.

One of my ‘press’ samples. It smells vegetal, with hints of baked bread, and grain. Perhaps even vegetable bread. The flavour is on the floral side, with more veggies. Good to try more Japanese black teas. Thanks to Yunomi for letting me try this.

My breakfast tea. Oh, this smells so nice. I get a lovely scent of chocolate. There is a bit of graham cracker in the flavour. And it’s a bit on the sweet side. Overall, very good. Glad I decided to try it today. Having another cup while playing some Harvest Moon.

Needed some black tea today, so I picked this one. It certainly smells a bit like custard. The flavour is sweet and creamy, with some vanilla. There is more of a nutmeg scent, I don’t really taste it much. As I have not tried the first version, I can not compare them. Perhaps I should try brewing it longer next time. Thanks to cookies for the sample.
