First off, this tea is just gorgeous. The sharply cut bamboo leaves and chunks of strawberry look so lovely. The strawberry scent is really strong, but if you smell it up close you can pick out the bamboo (which is a little strange).

I’m trying this hot and I’m not really finding it “blazing”. It’s more of a soft strawberry taste, which is really nice. I’m looking forward to trying this iced.

Also, I picked up a 50g back, but there seems like there’s a TON of it. Two tsp per cup, but this stuff is so light that it doesn’t even matter.

I grabbed this one yesterday when the Summer Collection came out. I couldn’t really smell it in the tin, but I decided to get it anyways. It doesn’t smell great steeped, just dark and woodsy. Almost like a citronella candle. It tastes almost the same as it smells. I can’t pick up any lime in here, which I was hoping for. Not sure if I like this one.

Not sure how I feel about this one yet. It smells heavily of cinnamon or cider, but packs a tart punch. I think there might be too many flavours going on at once, but I’ll save my final judgement for another cup.

Probably one of my favourite from Davids so far. I didn’t pick this one up when I first grabbed some of the Spring Collection. I have no idea why I passed over this one!

First off: the smell is phenomenal. I wish this came as a candle. The taste is tart, but juicy and refreshing. Sometimes I find that hot teas don’t quench my thirst, but this one definitely did. It was still tasty as it got colder. The only problem is (as others have pointed out) that I feel like I have to ration it out since there’s two tsp per cup. It is a little pricey, but I appreciate that I can just freely drink it.

I did a cold brew to see how it was iced. Three tsp in a big glass of water (16-ish oz) in the fridge for a couple of hours. A little weak, but lovely and refreshing.

I’ll definitely be restocking this in case it disappears when the Summer collection comes out!

Nabbed a bag of this new tea today. It smells strangely like bananas. It’s lovely and sweet. The raspberries hit first, and the chocolate is kind of a wispy after taste. It’s rich, but really easy to drink. Really juicy.

I’ve resteeped it a couple of times and it’s still good, so it looks like it’ll be going into the travel mug. Definitely a keeper!

Went on a whim and bought a tin of this stuff. It smells amazing dry, but pretty nasty when it’s steeped. Not getting a lot of fruity flavours in here, just bitter. I wonder if I didn’t get enough fruit bits when I steeped it…

The second go was much better. You really get the fruit flavours in the after taste. There’s a few big chunks of what I think is pineapple that I’ll save when I make a pot.

I think this is the best tea I’ve had from Davids so far. A good tea for me doesn’t go bitter if it’s steeped for too long. That way I can have a big tea pot of it, or keep it in my travel mug. I resteepted this one three times over the weekend and it was still good each time. I’ll definitely be going back to get a tin of this stuff!

I adore this tea. It was one of the first ones that I went back for a tin of. I drink this instead of my coffee now in the morning. It’s excellent hot and not too bad when it’s cold. You can definitely taste the white chocolate and almonds in it. One of the girls at my local Davids told me that it’s also an appetite suppressant!

After reading another tasting note that said that this gets better the longer it steeps, I tried it out again in my big glass teapot. This isn’t a very dark black tea, and similarly the taste is very light. The lime is zingy, but not overpowering. I enjoyed the hint of coconut, which was much softer than the buttered rum I had this morning.

There’s nothing bitter about this tea, so it’s nice to slowly sip at without worrying about oversteeping it. Even as it got cold it was still tasty, so I’m sure it would be lovely iced. Definitely a go-to for my long paper writing sessions!
