6 Tasting Notes
Another delicious tea from DAVIDsTEA that will become a regular in my tea cupboard. I picked this one up today along with 100g of Chocolate Cake and once again I’m more than pleased with my purchases.
I just finished my first cup of Movie Night and I’m already ready for another! First off it smells wonderful, like lightly caramelised popcorn with a sweet hint of apple. I very lightly sweetened mine with honey and it brought out the flavours wonderfully. You can definitely taste the popcorn and the apple pieces add a subtle layer of flavour that really completes the flavour perfectly.
If I had any critique to offer at all, I would say that I didn’t really taste the green tea in this much, so if you’re looking for the green tea flavour to come through, you might be disappointed with this tea.
All in all, I would highly recommend this very tasty tea!
Preparation
This tea for me was love at first smell! I’ve now bought and tried all of the DAVIDsTEA Cupcake Teas and while this one isn’t my favourite of the bunch, it is still pretty delicious!
Appearance wise, it was really cute to see the multi coloured sprinkles and there is a pretty generous amount of ice cream bits in there too. It smells fantastic with warm brown sugar and subtle hints of vanilla.
Taste wise, this is a very smooth tea with a flavour very similar to the smell. I’ve added both a touch of honey and milk and it tasted even better! Either way though, it’s an easy tea to drink!
I think that I’ll probably buy this tea again for myself and I’ll definitely be buying this for my tea drinking friend’s birthdays!
Preparation
I’ve been on the hunt for a tasty rooibos chai for ages now and have always been disappointed in my findings. That was definitely not the case with this particular variety! This is hands-down the best rooibos chai tea I’ve ever tasted.
The traditional chai ingredients all blend together in perfect harmony and the addition of the coconut knocks it out of the park. If you like coconut in your tea and you’re a fan of chai tea, this is definitely the tea for you!
Once again DAVIDs TEA comes through with a delicious, well balanced tea that is very easy to drink!
Preparation
This is an amazing chai tea. One of the best I’ve ever had. It’s perfectly balanced spice wise and the notes of coconut are perfection.
Typically I only buy loose leaf tea because the quality is generally better but Zhena’s Gypsy teas are very high quality and I would strongly recommend trying this tea out.
Preparation
This is one of the best teas I’ve ever had. The lavender and coconut go together perfectly with the rooibos. I find with this one here that you can’t really over steep it, in fact, the longer you steep it the better it tastes.
This will definitely be a staple in my tea cupboard from now on!
Preparation
I really enjoyed this tea. It’s very mild with a nice hint of creamy sweetness. I could definitely taste hints of coconut and the delicate flavour of the white tea complimented the mulberries perfectly. I bought 100g and I think it’ll be depleted very soon!
On a side note, a few people (including the girl helping me at DAVIDs TEA) mentioned eating the mulberries after steeping the tea. I tried this and found the mulberries to be extremely sweet and not all that enjoyable.
