I am wholly confused that this tea says “black tea” as the tea type, yet in the ingredients it says “organic white tea leaves”, and in the description it mentions “red tea base” (which, as far as I know, is a type of black tea?)

Regardless of that, this is decent. It’s definitely a nice quality tea, but the flowery aspect isn’t really doing it for me. It isn’t repulsive, as I find most floral teas, but it just doesn’t tickle my fancy either. I’ll have to pay more attention to see if I can get any citrus, but it certainly isn’t jumping out at me.

Good morning! This tea is amazing, as I’m sure you all know. Waffle-y goodness.

As I was measuring this out it occurred to me I should have added some in to my recent Butiki order. I drink this one slowly, so I’m sure there will be another order before I’m out.

Good Morning!!!

Sad sipdown. Thanks EvaGrimm for sending me another couple sups of this one.

Now that I know I have to ship within the US, I hope I can nab some of this one if Fava releases it again come fall.

Having this one this morning as I work on more cue cards. Amazing, as usual. You all know how much I love this tea.

This is the last day of classes for this term, then 2 weeks of exams, then Vancouver!

keychange

Woohoo for the end of term!

Plunkybug

Are you and OMGsrsly gonna (try to) meet up at all in Vancouver?

Crowkettle

Good luck on your exams!

This is actually a decent rooibos. I’m always wary of rooibos, since I generally do not enjoy it at all. With the one exception of Fauchon’s L’Automne. Sigh.

The rooibos base here doesn’t overtake the other ingredients completely, which is great. The apple is apparent, though I’m not so sure about the pistachio or strudel aspect. There is something dimming the apple a bit so those things are there, just not distinguishable to me. Overall, an enjoyable cup, especially for a rooibos.

Thanks Roswell Strange!

VariaTEA

This is definitely a good rooibos.

Suziqzer

Sounds like a good one. I prefer when the rooibos isn’t an apparent flavor of the tea, but blends well with other flavors. L’Automne is great … I agree!

Roswell Strange

I actually just made a cup of this…

Having this one again tonight. So tasty. There seems to be two types of pumpkin teas – one of which I love, like this, and one which I feel meh about, which I find is most others.

Thanks for sharing KittyLovesTea!

I am planning/procrastinating on what to do first. I have a lot to do for school but zero motivation. I have 4 exams in a row next week – so Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and then 2 the following week. Even knowing this, I can’t bring myself to study. Maybe I need more of a motivational tea for my next cup.

Aimee Popovacki

i’m the same way with pumpkin anything lately haha i think i killed pumpkin for myself… i have pumpking spice k cups which i loved, but i definitely overdid them.. same goes for davids pumpkin chai.

I’m such a sucker for banana chocolate. I have this thing where I despise fruit and chocolate together, with this one exception.

This is my morning cup with my breakfast of coconut pineapple loaf, plain yogurt with honey, and coconut water. I have a mango I should cut up, but perhaps that will be for lunch.

This tea is delightful. There are lots of floating bits, but it’s so tasty I don’t mind. The chocolate is apparent and the banana less so, but still there. I wouldn’t mind having a tin of this around for a herbal option. Though I think the closest Tea Desire is close to a 45 minute drive away. This city needs to grow up, not out.

This tea is tasty. I’ve been lucking out with all these new teas I’ve been trying. This one is chocolate-y with a hint of vanilla and a nice black base. I wouldn’t say it’s anything special, but it is good.

It doesn’t really taste like an oreo, but I feel that could be a user error, since I don’t like adding milk to my teas.

Thanks Roswell Strange!

Having this delightful treat that I received from a swap with KittyLovesTea. The envelope took 2 months to arrive because it was missent to Australia. How I wish I was in Australia.

I’ve had this one before and I do enjoy it. I might actually pick some up if it comes back out this fall. I don’t often find Della Terra’s I enjoy enough to order, and it’s nice to be able to order some from them because they have such great prices.

LotR and school go together naturally, watched a lot of those movies when I was in classes haha :D

Courtney

Haha excellent. I won’t feel so bad then. :P

mrs.stenhouse12

Haha hopefully I am not being a bad influence now :D and now I want to have a LotR marathon..maybe this weekend. Lol

I cold brewed this one for six hours last night. I should’ve done it for more but it was six or fourteen type thing – and I didn’t want to risk overdoing it. OMGsrsly suggested condensed milk, but I really, really do not like milk in my tea so I just opted for cold brewed. The maple flavour is still lovely and apparent. Maybe one day I will get over my milk in tea thing, but for now I love this tea hot.

I can’t wait to pick up more! Under three weeks now!

Thanks again OMGsrsly!

OMGsrsly

Hong Kong Milk Tea. One day I hope you experience it and like it! :)

Courtney

You do have the best ideas for mixings. Maybe once I have my own stash of this awesome tea I’ll be brave enough to mess around with it. :)

OMGsrsly

I treat my tea collection like a fancy coffee shop, honestly. I’ll add (almost) anything to my teas, just to try. :)

I love black tea and this is usually what’s in my mug. I’m also happy to enjoy a cup of green or red rooibos (green preferable to red), herbals, oolongs (unroasted/green and red preferable to roasted), whites, and subtly flavoured greens (mango or pineapple, yum!).

Likes:
Raspberry, strawberry, peach, rhubarb, passionfruit, blackcurrant, redcurrant, fig, and most fruits in general, maple, creaminess, hay, biscuit, lavender, and cacao/dark chocolate.

I enjoy bergamot when paired with flavours that mellow it (Camellia Sinensis Earl Grey Cream is one of my favourites).

Dislikes:
Any smokiness at all, stevia, too much blackberry leaf, rose, jasmine, ginger (except in chai), cinnamon-heavy teas, anything cloying or fake/candy-like.

I’m vegan with an allergy to potatoes, so I avoid any animal products in tea, along with sprinkles as these often have potato starch (I usually just pick them out of blends).
