We are up a little late tonight for a dialysis night but thats ok we are enjoying some really good tea(it don’t keep us up anymore it actually relaxes us before bed lol). This particular Imperial Gold Buds are one of if not The very best Dian Hong i’ve ever had, thanks to Tommy the Toad I’ve had lots and lots of Yunnan black teas puers and dian hongs I do not like the Puer but I do love the dian hongs.
We’ve had some really dark colored dian hongs and some really pretty golden colored ones like this one and lots in between with black and gold leaves.
This is probably the most beautiful looking and pleasant tasting, the leaves look absolutely stunning totally golden and fluffy soft looking with millions of little furs all over, just beautiful.
Brendens Bi Luo Chun(another yunnan black) is also just as pretty and almost as tasty BTW but not as Imperial Gold Buds ;)
The flavor of this Imperial Gold Buds Tea is very bold and malty, notes of cocoa, creamy vanilla and honey with an earthy sweetness and a slight hint of floral.
This is easy one of our top 5 teas, one that we have bought often but drink sparingly as to not ruin the experience by spoiling the taste buds with it too often, it has a nice happy energy and I look forward to buying even more soon, 100 taste points from me!
I do recommend this tea :)

Malty with chocolate, caramel notes and a fruity sweetness. We hope to get more of this when it is available again.
I’ve enjoyed drinking warm in the evening times and I’ve had it as an Iced and It is a really nice and brisk. I love it.

I love this Tea.
Golden Orchid is the best Vanilla Tea I’ve had so far.
The tea itself has wonderfully malty with notes of rich chocolate and a slight fruitiness, the Vanilla adds a creamy sweetness to these notes and makes for a most delicious tea.
Decadent, Rich and Smooth Try it Iced!

I really like this tea, it tastes almost like raisinbread or cinnamon rolls very good for breakfast first thing in the morning.
The first steep has the best bold black TEA flavors while the second and third steeps seemed to have less of the bold TEA flavors but they have more of the flavors from other ingredients like the cinnamon and the little berries, I liked the second steep best.

I tried this one before I had my matcha, I didn’t care for it very much while it was warm i think because it really does taste like Pistachio Ice Cream and it being warm and liquid in tea form was just not right, it throws it off lol
but I let it cool till cold and it was much better, still not really one I would drink often but its good.

I think this matcha is quite refreshing and delicious, had it made with milk and sweetened, we drink matcha as a “pick me up” in a small cup but I could make a big tall glass of this and just drink it up. I’ve been really looking forward to coming home and trying this matcha, it’s one of the better ones we’ve tried.

I like this one, it was a good breakfast tea to me, i’t was bold and strong
Tommy said it was lacking something but you can read that in his note, We had it like a breakfast tea with milk and sugar and the bold tea taste still came through really strong.

Smells really good like mango and tastes good also but to me it actually tastes more like a ripe wild plum rather than mango, still good tho.

I like this Tea Iced with sugar, Its a light crisp Iced tea with little to no astringency. It is very refreshing first thing in the morning. This is one of my favorite Iced Teas, We have bought it many times.
