drank White Symphony by Adagio Teas

This was the first white tea (not counting Jasmine Silver Needle) that I had ever tasted. I really liked it a lot. It was smooth and light, without being grassy. I bought Adagio’s white tea sampler, and I hope I like the other teas as much as I liked this one.

drank Jasmine Silver Needle by Adagio Teas

When I received my order from Adagio, I noticed that my sample tin of Jasmine Silver Needle seemed to be slightly deformed. This resulted in the lid being extremely difficult to remove. I was so excited to open the tin that I didn’t take the time to think things through, and realize that opening a tin of tea over a long shag carpet probably wasn’t the best idea. So finally the lid flew off, and the most expensive tea I have ordered to date went FLYING. It all landed in the shag carpet. What a nightmare. It took me forever to pick it all out, and my first sample cup most likely was an infusion of Jasmine Silver Needle and Carpet Fibers. Tasty.
Despite this nightmare, however, the tea really did taste wonderful. It was so light and flowery, and the smell was AMAZING as well. I have around $15 in frequent cup points built up, so guess what tea I’m going to spend them on?!

How annoying for you! At least it was a large leaf one so you could save it, and that it was worth the effort. :)

Erin

Yes! And as an added bonus, my carpet now smells like Jasmine. How delicious!

Angrboda

Hee! Nothing is so bad it’s not good for something. :D

Ricky

Aww that’s a shame that it went flying everywhere =(

As I was reading your review, I could picture the entire scenario in my head. I’m so sorry that happened, but it does make a great tasting note. ;)

drank Honeybush Apricot by Adagio Teas

This was the first time I had ever tried a Honeybush tea, and I’m pretty impressed. The apricot was lightly sweet and not artificial-tasting at all. The fact that it doesn’t have caffeine is just an added bonus!

drank Peppermint by Adagio Teas

This tea was very interesting. First off, it smelled great. The smell was so strong I could smell it before I even opened the tin. It had a typical peppermint flavor, which makes your mouth feel cold after you drink it. It’s such a curious sensation coming from a hot drink. Overall, I loved it. It tasted great on this winter day, which was cold, even for Texas.

The smell of this was really amazing! I opened the tin and didn’t even need to lift it to my face to smell the sweet, savory aroma. With a smell as good as that, I really expected something spectacular. It certainly tasted good, it just wasn’t as good as the smell led me to believe. I’ll order this again, because I really did enjoy it.

This was the first tea I sampled from a large (for me) shipment I received today. I’m so excited to try the rest, so I’ll probably be logging pretty frequently, especially since I have 4 days in a row without class. Maybe I’ll taste something that will replace Golden Monkey as my favorite!

I really like this tea. It tastes a bit like Golden Monkey, but without the chocolate.

Full-bodied, slightly tart. Really great to bring to morning classes because the taste alone keeps you alert.
