Can you mess up bagged peppermint? It’s as good as any other I’ve had. Maybe one day I’ll find a really good one, and realise how lacklustre this one was. Until then, bottom’s up.

I was looking for a substitute for straight raspberry leaf tea (can’t stand the taste, but I like the benefits), so I gave this a try. Much better than plain raspberry leaf tea, but I don’t know if I like it enough for it to be a daily drink.

They may have oversteeped it (it was a sample they gave me in store) – I think it needed some milk, as I found it quite strong. I’d like to take some home to brew myself, and experiment with steeping time.

Quite pleasantly surprised. I like it a lot! Not nearly as strong as what I usually like for breakfast, but it holds up just fine.

I had this at the cafe, and I don’t think it was prepared properly. Too bad.

I finally decided to try this, having heard only good things about it. It’s great! And it really is cheaper loose than buying it in bags. Looks like I’ve found a new breakfast tea.

Bio

I’m at the point where my family, friends and coworkers ask me for tea advice. It’s awesome, but I still feel as though I’m just getting started.

I love tea, have a small ball-joint doll collection, am fascinated by Japanese culture and faerie folklore, and wish I could travel much more often. I have two daughters, a husband, and three cats. I wish I had more time for all the things I want to learn and do.

I use Steepster to log each tea I try only once, so I may not update that often, but I drink several kinds of tea several times daily!
