drank Blueberry by Adagio Teas

I’m finding that the numerous black leaf teas I got in a sampler from Adagio work better as a “flavor enhancer” then a straight up tea. That said, this combined with Golden Jade (http://steepster.com/teas/teavana/6975-golden-jade) is really fantastic. Steeped it for a bit longer and the blueberry has just a hint of the more bitter, dark taste instead of the super sugar you’d get from, let’s say, a blueberry juice

Somewhat surprised…as I did NOT like Dragonwell. Much more grassy then the green tea I normally enjoy, but, it steers clear from overpowering my senses which is a big key for me.

What I started on and what I keep going back to again and again.

The smell reminds me of moss and mushroom, with a light sweet taste.

Not overpowering, but, hits me just like I imagined all the fuss was about before I started my tea trek.

Love it

Nice…like my fellow Teabagger (see facebook) Brian Hill I got this as a sample. Honestly didn’t know of the mint before I first tried it, so, taken back as it wasn’t what I was looking for.

However, this morning needed something to debunk the breakfast burrito I unwisely choose to consume and this was excellent. Not sure it has “staying power” as something I’d want to put into my regular rotation. But, as a situational choice for a freshener…it’s very pleasant and has little to no after taste, which you’d expect.

drank Masala Chai by Adagio Teas

This sure it a chai…by that I mean STRONG. Doesn’t mean it was bad, but, a little milk (treason!) would have sure mellowed the very intense taste. In fact, took a few washings of my infuser to stop it from sneaking into my other steeps. Good, not great.

However, I did get my wife a set-up and this was her first step into steeping. She was very happy…so I got that going for me.

drank White Peach by Adagio Teas

No other words but magnificent. Smells tremendous when you open the tin and tastes even better. I don’t even LOVE or LIKE peach, but, this works well by itself or as a flavor enhancer for more plain green teas you may want to spice up.

drank Ti Kuan Yin by Adagio Teas

AMAZING taste, hard to describe. In Mandarin, Ti Kuan Yin means ‘iron goddess of mercy,’ Thick, leafy balls of this oolong leaf tea just make it look like you’ll enjoy it. Has a very light and smooth flavor that I find really works well for an easy wake-up. This really zings when you add White Peach to it. I bought it as part of the Roots Campaign on Adiago = http://www.adagio.com/roots_campaign/wang_mei_rui.html?SID=ab73d2d6e173dae15bbc9d04ddffcc41

very sad to take first taste of this one and realize it was like wet popcorn. Hoping it would have a little more in-depth flavor or something to take away the strength of the aforementioned “Jiffy Pop” zest. Too Bad, but, glad I tried it…and it was only a sample.

B HILL

Tried to warn you on that one…to this point that is the only tea that I have poured out after 1 sip.

I didn’t even get that much in
