Thank you TeaEqualsBliss for this one. There were two previous reviews of this. They were not impressed. I am going to go agaist the flow. I actually liked this one. Ok, it’s not really tea. It’s chamomile. As mentioned this turns pinkish and not the lemon lime orange look of the picture.

The chamomile is obvious in the sip. The rose, hibiscus, lemon, and orange all meld together but you can separate their tastes if you choose to work at it. I like that. I also like the fennel. I have seen it in blends before but this is the first where it stands out on its own. I love fennel.

The hibiscus adds only a mild tartness that I think works with the citrus to keep the rose from being too girly. I personally think this is one of the more enjoyable herbals I have tried.

I hate going into a tea THINKING I am going to hate it…but I will still give it the ol-college-try…

Yeah. I was right…yuck.

Chamomile…strike one.
Hibiscus…strike two.
funky after taste…strike three.

And there goes the cup down the drain…

I’ve really only even found one chamomile tea I liked – and that’s the Sleepytime Vanilla by Celestial Seasonings. And that’s probably because the vanilla almost completely drowns out the chamomile…

TeaEqualsBliss

I like it in Foxtrot but so far that’s it…lol…

I haven’t been very impressed with Zhena’s Gypsy.

TeaEqualsBliss

I like about half of Zhena’s stuff…just not those herbally and tarty ones!

Jillian

The two I’ve tried, Coconut Chai and Raspberry Earl Grey, have both been busts with me unfortunately.

LiberTEAS snuck this bag in with our swap. I’ve been wanting to try this (as part of my quest to find the perfect chamomile), so I’m really excited.

sniff Hibiscus!!

sip Hibiscus!! Then a bit of chamomile and lemon myrtle. Then…dill? Oh, no, it’s fennel. Fennel? And it’s the second ingredient?! I’m not sure why it’s in this blend. I think it’d be much tastier without it. And the aftertaste is a bit…weird.

So glad I got to taste this before I bought it!! I’m going to finish this cup, but I’d never be able to bring myself to finish an entire package.
