This is the best rose tea I’ve ever had. Great for afternoons. In my experience rose tea can be done either really well or really terribly. Since I’ve found this one, I probably won’t be buying other rose blends… out of fear. :)

I initially got this tea in the sample tin of 4 and this one was my favorite. I was happy to see that you can purchase just a tin of rose online, since I haven’t seen it in stores.

A cup of heaven!

This is my go to tea when I’m feeling stressed or creative (seriously the rose scent is like my own little muse). It’s a black tea with a lovely moderate rose flavor. It’s feet cold brewed as iced tea, but my favorite way to drink it is hot.

I brew one bag per 8 ounces of water for about 3-4 minutes. Then add a bit of cream or milk and it’s perfection.

Flavors: Rose

Floral teas are another questionable experience for me, but this one wasn’t bad! I’m wary of drinking most black tea blends sans milk, but I can’t drink floral blends with it, haha. So straight up was what I went for this – a decent cup, I have to say! I don’t know if I’d buy this one on my own, but I’m definitely glad I tried this.

I really want to like rose as a flavor in tea, it’s so very good in food but I don’t think black tea was the way to go. The longer I steeped it the more rosy it got.. to the point it reminded me of old lady perfume. Couldn’t taste the black tea enough to taste any flavor notes. Just rose and dry mouth. Plus zhenas uses artificial flavoring

This is one of the best on the shelf rose teas I’ve tried. It’s available as either a loose leaf tea, or in bags. The bags are convenient, and do steep quite well. However I found the rose came through in the aroma better with the loose leaf, probably because there were larger pieces of the petals. The flavor is smooth, and the rose is strong and softens the bitterness of the black tea very nicely.

I admit to accidentally setting my cup down to brew and walking away for a bit, so I’ve got NO idea how long I actually let it brew, but this tea is a pleasant surprise. I was a little worried because of how strong the rose scent was when I opened the tin, but it’s actually pleasantly subtle now that the tea has brewed. The black tea base definitely comes through, but the hint of rose over the top is actually really nice – I was a bit worried it would taste like I went out and grazed on my mom’s rose garden, but it’s just enough to give the taste, but not be overpowering.
