Like an orange vanilla cream creamsicle. I like it. It even leaves that slightly tart effervescence on the tongue like after eating an orange.

I always find blood orange teas loose their flavour so quickly. Yummy while it lasts! :)

Evol Ving Ness

How quickly do you mean?

Indigobloom

I’ve had a few. They always seemed to change in quality within a few months or so. but they’d always been rooibos (when other rooibos from the same store lost it less quickly). I’m curious whether it was the base or the flavour now

Evol Ving Ness

The fruit teas hang on to flavour far longer. Rooibos, I find, generally dissipates its added flavour quickly.

I need to continue being aware of this and sip down accordingly. talking to myself

Indigobloom

Ha. I just need to stop buying so much, especially now that I drink far less

Wasn’t sure whether or not I was going to sample this one from the box, but I finished off my most recent pitcher of cold brewed tea and was looking for something new to make. Trey suggested something citrusy so I pulled this one out and let him smell the dry leaf, and well here we are…

This isn’t bad; I was actually quite worried about it being too tart but on the contrary it’s almost a little too watered down/mellow tasting. I still get orange notes, as well as apple, but they don’t pack nearly as much punch as I’d expected from the dry smell. Now, on one hand that’s great because I half expected this what with the hibby also in it to be far too tart, but on the other hand it leaves you somewhat dissatisfied too. What’s for sure though is that it’s super refreshing and definitely fitting for summer.

I probably just underleafed a little bit; I just really didn’t want to use all of the leaf in the box…

Another sample from evol ving ness this one smells pretty good, but brewed it has a weird taste until you add a tiny bit of sweetner. Then i can totally see “blood orange” as a flavour here. I’d be curious to see how this tastes cold brewed since it might be a decent summer drink for something a little sour but not hibby sour (not that i mind hibby!)

Sipdown

I think the Rose might be throwing me off on this one. It just comes across as a weird taste. It was ok cold brewed but certainly not something I would re-stock.
