We are pleased to offer our first ever tea cake from “Man Gang Village” 漫岗 a small village just north of Bang Dong town (just west of Da Qing and Na Han village). Our tea is grown from mature old arbor trees between 80-250 years of age. Previously tea from this village has been sold (by us) as “Bang Dong Village” and “Bang Dong Gu Shu”. Starting this year we decided to be more transparent about the actual location of this amazing tea! Check out some of the pictures from our visit to this wonderful place!
If you are a fan of Bang Dong teas like our Bang Dong Gu Shu (and Bang Dong Village), Na Han, and Bang Dong Zi Cha, then you’ll find this tea cake to be very interesting and enjoyable. Strong up front taste, with flower and umami essences, bitterness with a fast returning sweetness and a powerful stimulating cha qi makes this tea a sure bet for long term aging.
