I got this tea as a free sample. It is not bad, and the price is quite good, but I don’t find it engaging enough. The liquor has a medium to light body and a silky, bubbly mouthfeel. It smells of dungeon, grains, and wet earth predominately. The taste is quite simple with a woody, sweet and creamy character.

Bought this with my last Yunnan Sourcing order. Trying to give it a fair review as I am only steeping it western style. I was too lazy to break out all my teaware at 7 am. There is a little sweetness to this tea and there is the taste of bamboo. There is a fair amount of fermentation flavor to this tea. But not too much. Doesn’t seem like wet storage taste but I could be wrong. I’m sure this negative note would go away in a few more steepings. Overall, with this in mind I rate this tea fairly highly.

I brewed this one time with 3 tsp leaf and boiling water for 30 seconds after a 10 second rinse.
