This tea is a certified organic production of Raw Pu-erh tea from Nan Nuo mountain in Xishuangbanna. The Yunnan Province Agricultural Sciences Academy Tea Research Institute claims a certain portion of Nannuo Mountain to carry out research and development of Pu-erh tea and more specifically organic tea.
This cake is guaranteed by the OTRDC (Organic Tea Research and Development Center) to be free of pesticides and to have been grown in accordance with organic standards. The cake is representative of Nan Nuo Mountain tea flavor and is compressed perfectly. Proceeds from the sale of this cake benefit the Yunnan Province Agricultural Sciences Academy research station in Xishuangbanna.
