From Yunnan Sourcing

This is a very nice Menghai area (not Menghai Tea Factory) ripe pu-erh tea brick. It’s been aged in both Menghai and then Kunming, giving it a nice semi-aged taste that is sweet, creamy, and fruity without any wet pile taste or wet storage funk. The leaf grade material used is a blend of larger leaf grades (3,5,7, & 9) giving it a mellow taste, and a bright clear tea soup. It can be steeped 5 to 7 times or more with a typical gong fu style approach.

This is a great daily driver tea. It’s not offensive at all, the aroma is crisp and clean as is the taste. Decently long aftertaste of nice roastyness. Bitterness increases with each steep.

The brick is very dense and tightly pressed.

I got this as a free gift from Yunnan Sourcing during a promotion, so it was a really great price!
