I took a chance on this one on Ebay and I’m glad I did. I’ve not been quite so lucky with other cheap teas. This one sells for $22 for 400g, which is a preverbial ‘steal’ for a 2006 Banzhang (supposedly). Could be a fake, not sure. But who cares! I love it. It’s a sharp and pungent tea, with a smoky/spicy/woody/shroomy flavor, and great qi. This is my energizing tea when I’m feeling run down. It’s also comforting and makes me feel warm and fuzzy (quite literally). There is just something about this tea. The smoke is pretty intense in initial steeps but dissipates quickly. I just bought another one. I think I’m going to buy even more soon. Yay!
