However… I agree with the other reviews. Where the heck is the hazelnut?! shrugs
On it’s own, this was a little too spicy for me. Too much cardamom I think. With some milk and agave, it was better. Still spicy but better.
Anyhow, I’m off to bed early. Night y’all!

Maybe it’s because I’m a trail mix fan, or of ANY kind of nut, rather, but I was hoping for a more hazelnutty flavor. (Scratch that, I’m obsessed with nuts—so yogi, why is your hazelnut tea not very nutty?)
I added a dollop of almond milk and a touch of stevia—which did only a little for the hazelnut flavor. While it’s not a bad tea, it’s just lacking in the ‘nut flavor’ department.

Cofftea

I’m guessing it was going for a French Vanilla type flavor profile w/o using that term.

I love a nutty taste as well, and often find I’m terribly disappointed when I try any tea blend that’s supposed to contain “almond” or “hazelnut” notes. They’re rarely strong enough for me!

Well here I am at the store getting bumped and pushed by random people(since when did everyone get so rude :[) and I saw this wonderful box of deliciousness. The aroma is very spicy and creamy. The flavor is spicy, nutty, and creamy. VERY spicy. Woo! I still like it though :] A nice change after a few days.

This came in my super awesome box from my new bes-tea, Tea Pet! Overall, I like this. It’s spicy and creamy. I get the hazelnut and it’s intensified by the piece of hazelnut chocolate I consumed with it.

Sounds like a yummy pairing!

It was! About halfway through, I went back to the kitchen and put some milk in it. Ah-mazing!

We visited friends yesterday and it was absolutely freezing, so when they offered tea, I jumped at it. I’ve been put off somewhat from Yogi teas in the past, but this one was really good!

I added a touch of skim milk and let the tea bag steep away for longer than I would with pretty much every other tea, but it managed to be a bit sweet on its own. I’m not sure I’d stock in my cupboard as the taste wasn’t really hazelnut, more of a chai, but I wouldn’t refuse another cup.

And I wouldn’t deny picking up a box if I were to find it on sale.

There really is no hazelnut to be tasted here, which, for me, was a good thing. I can’t stand hazelnut flavored anything, which was why I was so reluctant to try this tea my mom gave me. An effort to use up the bagged tea I have, I ended up trying it anyway. After fixing it up with some vanilla almond milk and raw agave, this was quite tasty. I wound up asking my mom for some more.

I don’t taste the vanilla or hazelnut at all. It’s heavy on the cinnamon/cardamon/clove. It’s not what I expected.

Not a fan. When I think hazelnut, I think of the rich taste of Nutella or the buttery smell of the hazelnut coffee my dad can’t start his morning without. There’s not even the tiniest note of that here. Not really sensing vanilla either. This tea tastes and smells overwhelmingly of cinnamon and cloves. I tried maybe 2-3 cups. Now the box just sits in my cupboard.

Cinnamon. It tastes like cinnamon. I had this several days ago and have tried to come up with more nuanced thoughts, but I really don’t have any. It’s a good cinnamon! Strong and spicy, likely due to containing the oil as well as the bark. But, it doesn’t taste a lick like what it’s supposed to, even if it does smell a bit vanilla-ish still in the bag. Even there, the cinnamon predominates. Rename it cinnamon swirl and I’ll rate it higher, Yogi.

What if you only try steeping the first steep for about a minute? (I’d do a second steep just to feel I wasn’t wasting a tea on a minute.) Sometimes I find flavor pops more with shorter steeps.
