From World of Tea

This black tea from Yunnan is filled with golden buds. The infused tea has deep notes of aromatic wood, autumn flowers, a rustic edge (or impression of leather), with a pleasant and long lasting woody finish.

I drank a cup of this this morning, from the BBBB, & there was just enough left to brew a pot, which I shared with a student this afternoon. This is a decent tea, just a basic dian hong, no fancy bells & whistles, but still tasty & good.

strangely i haven’t logged this before now, though i have had it before. Overall this is a pretty average every day sort of tea. It’s nothing to knock my socks off but it’s nothing i’d turn down either. I really should try this gaiwan style though to see if that will coax anything else out of this one. hmmm…

I feel like a copycat but I have to echo TerriHarpLady and Sil – this is a decent, non-spectacular but good dian hong. Nothing to keep around, but nothing to turn down. Maybe a little lighter than some others.

This one was totally different from the other two blacks I was drinking today – good but different. This one is lighter and more fruity. This is good, but not really my favorite style.
Thanks Sil enjoying the blacks that you sent me.
