First impressions:
Balsamic, chestnut honey, complex. Deep and bright. Intense.
1
Sweet, full bodied. Nice bite and bitterness. Beewax from the empty cup.
2
Balsamic, dark citrus, pine resin. Chestnut honey. Delicate aftertaste. Smooth and balanced body, tangy bitter sweet.
3
Very rich, dark chocolate, Orange. Lingering citrusy aftertaste
4
Aroma doesn’t Change much, gets less citrusy and more earthy. Liquor less thick. dry. Aftertaste is good and coats the mouth in a gentle way. Heart goes faster, head slows down.
5
Aroma doesn’t change much. Body thins out. I feel the caffeine. Chest tension. Flavours look more simple and clear.
6
Simpler, citrus gets stronger and fresher. Real dark honey feeling in the liquor. Aromatic bittersweet.
7
I steeped it for 5 minutes but the liquor was weak and watery. Not much flavour left.
Final thoughts:
I found it deep and satisfying, not very dynamic but never boring. It gives me a warm and healing sensation. Good match with today’s rainy weather.
However I feel it’s strong on caffeine and today is making me nervous.
